Savannah’s Two Best Coffee Shops | Savannah, Georgia

Two Must-Visit Coffee Shops in Savannah, Georgia.

Planning a trip to the charming city of Savannah, Georgia? If you’re like me, the first thing you do when visiting a new city is hunt for great coffee shops, and luckily, Savannah, Georgia, is full of them.

Since most of us probably don’t have the time or energy to stop into every one, I’ve compiled a list of two exceptionally delightful ones that you don’t want to miss on your trip. Seriously, these two coffee shops pass all the tests: great atmosphere, delicious coffee and fare, and that certain je ne sais quoi.

Ready to discover Savannah’s two best coffee shops? Let’s get started.

  1. The Coffee Fox

The Coffee Fox is an award-winning hub for coffee enthusiasts that offers a delightful assortment of options at a fair price.

The cafe is located right off bustling Broughton Street in downtown Savannah, where you can choose from an extensive menu of locally roasted coffee and cold brew beverages, specialty espresso drinks, teas, craft beer, and bites.

In terms of food, they offer patrons delicious pastry and dessert options that are baked fresh daily, including a nice variety of vegan and gluten-free alternatives. Or, on the stinkier side of things, guests can enjoy an elegant slab of cheeses featuring aged cheddar, seasonal goat cheese, manchego, and more.

My recommendation: taste the Horchata Latte to see what all the hype is about (spoiler: it’s hyped for good reason), and for an added kick, try their savory jalapeno cornbread.

If you manage to find a seat, The Coffee Fox is a fun spot to linger awhile and revive your energy levels. The shop has a vibrant and cozy atmosphere, adorned with an eccentric mix of decorations that err on the hipster side without the pretentiousness.

The staff—always attentive—moves around in barista-shaped flurries to serve your drinks quickly despite the store’s perpetual busyness.

Whether you’re visiting or a local, The Coffee Fox is definitely worth a visit.

2. The Paris Market and Brocante

Also off Broughton St., The Paris Market and Brocante is an elegant cafe and boutique offering French press coffee, espresso beverages, and mouth-watering treats. In the store portion of The Paris Market, you’ll find an eclectic array of treasures, antique or otherwise. Really, this bi-level shop is gorgeous.

The cafe itself tempts each passerby with a display of fresh pastries, colorful macarons, and a rich coffee aroma that delights the senses. Order the cappuccino or the chai latte. You won’t regret it.

The staff at The Paris Market and Brocante are always pleasant and professional, pouring silky steamed lattes behind the counter or answering inquiries in the bazaar below.

People-watch over a charming, white marble table as you sip on rich coffee or bite into a warm, flaky croissant. Really, what more can you ask for from a cafe experience?

It’s safe to say that there isn’t a single aspect of The Paris Market and Brocante that is less than delightful.
